You have a question?

“But actually, what do you do for a living?”

I help people working in hospitals, care homes and offices to use their computers properly and find the information they need to do their jobs well. I answer their questions, write user guides for them and sometimes visit their offices to set them tasks.

That’s the answer I give to children under 12 who ask me, ‘But what do you actually do for a living?’

To adults, I say that I am a digital project manager and product owner, or a translator from ‘tech’ to ‘human’ — diplomatic, patient and creative.

I make sure that everyone is speaking the same language (yes, even the graphic designer who is obsessed with the perfect pixel and the developer who dreams in binary). I make sure that website, intranet and SharePoint library meet a real need and don’t look like an abandoned building site, and that the digital strategy finally makes sense to users (and not just to the top-management).

To achieve this, I turn vague ideas into clear action plans and meetings into effective workshops. I transform nebulous explanations into analysis and manuals that are easy to understand.

In short, if you have a digital project that’s not getting anywhere, a team with diverse skills, confused users or simply need someone to say, “We can do this, but not like that,” I can help.

Are you ready to turn digital chaos into an organised symphony? Let’s talk!

“What have you been doing over the past couple of years?”

I work for Habitat&Humanisme. This is a French association based in Lyon. Its division named ‘Soin’ (Care) liaises with, manages and supports care homes across France (EHPAD). As an applications support specialist within the association, I assist employees with digital tools and work on solutions for scheduling, HR, managing medical records or housekeeping.

Before that, and after the end of my last professional assignement at the ICRC (in Geneva), I have personally invested resources in pursuing ongoing professional development.
I got 3 certifications :

  • Knowledge Management (CKM with the Knowledge Management Insitut),
  • Project management (PMP certificate), and
  • “Design Accessible” (Designers Ethiques).

In addition, I followed online classes to learn more about :

  • RGPD (CNIL online course)
  • Web accessibility (Atalan e-learning)
  • Designing accessible PDFs with InDesign (Atalan online classe)

In addition, I successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree in Interface Design after returning to academic studies. I worked on digital and graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and PremierePro. I gained experience in developing a visual identity and marketing strategy, which included activities such as benchmarking, competitor analysis, logo design, moodboard creation, website design, SEO optimisation, Instagram publications, storyboard creation and promotional video production.

In parallel with my professional development, I am currently working on enhancing my German-language skills.

Also, I have started my own business and work with associations, companies and independent workers to provide graphic design services (flyers, reports, websites, etc.). I am now looking to develop this activity alongside my employment.

"What do you consider to be your biggest achievement?"

Aside from my music collections and a couple of good photographs taken in Germany, what else is there?

Professionally, I would say that my experience at the ICRC remains one of my greatest accomplishments. While there, I redesigned the intranet, worked with amazing people around the world to improve information and knowledge management, and built relationships – some of which became real friendships.

Of course, I faced challenges, but I am happy and proud of what I was able to achieve and contribute to the organisation.

“Where can we find you?”

It could be in Lyon, Geneva, Berlin or anywhere with Wi-Fi. I could be sitting at home at my computer, in a café with a pen or a book in my hand, or in a concert hall. Alternatively, you can contact me and we can arrange to meet up. 🙂
